The Hong Kong Genome Institute (HKGI) has been entrusted with leading the pioneering Hong Kong Genome Project (HKGP). The primary aim of this groundbreaking initiative is to elevate the practical implementation of genomic medicine, thereby yielding substantial benefits for patients and their families. Moreover, the project seeks to cultivate extensive research endeavors in genomic medicine and allied fields, catalysing future medical breakthroughs in Hong Kong.
